Photos de Famille is a project that I directed, shot and styled. I wanted to show that people can become family despite their differences. Here I used the family portrait codes such as clothes, poses and decor to create unity and express that. The photoshoot took place at my grands-parents apartment, a place filled with memories and living family pictures all over the walls. I wanted to reflect that young people, including me are taking inspiration from the elders as much in fashion, design as in art in general.
